We thought we'd feed it and watch it turn into the cocoon and come out a moth.
This is what moth it would grow into:

It will have between a 4 and 5 inch wing span. Wow!
Read more and found out it stays in its cocoon alllllll winter...dang,
it's back in the woods.

That's beautiful! We see those moths around here on occasion, and they're amazing! One of my favorite pictures is of my youngest at about age 5 with a newly emerged monarch butterfly perched on his finger, drying its new wings. :)
