OK, Rock Band ROCKS!

So much fun :) really fun stuff. Things that we love about it:

1. Detailed design of your character. Yes, you can put a tattoo on and have dreads of purple, and see your character as you play! And if you want a different tattoo later, no problem! *g*

2. Drums!

3. both electric and bass guitar options, although you have to buy or have an extra guitar to play both.

4. the guitar play in this works so much better for me, than Guitar Hero, I'm not quite sure why. It might be that it plays more like a real guitar. This is the Rock Band guitar that comes with the set. You just strum and it works! Unfortunately, Alec did not like the guitar on this but we can get a Guitar Hero guitar for X-box 360 and it'll be what he's used to :)

Gotta go now, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive' is so much fun. Imagine that you actually can play that guitar part. :D Jon Bon Jovi would so want me in his band *G*

We've been trying to decide whether to get Rockband. You guys make it look like so much fun. Our kids play it at the local Lanshark with friends, and we have Guitar Hero III, but I know that my boys would laugh big to have me or my husband on vocals while they play. I CAN NOT play those drums!! How do they do it? Amazing ...

mrs. g - photo coming :)

laura - I know! About the drums, the girls love them and are so awesome at them. There's also a tutorial on the game that gived you a lot of tips. Abbi has gone through that.

We're excited now for our extended family to come and we're gonna rock out!

Marty and Holly have three friends who got Rock Band earlier, and they've played there. Kirby got one in Austin when it first came out. He said he came in from work one night and his roommate was gone, but there were so many people in their apartment playing Rock Band that he couldn't get in to play right away!

For Christmas, Kirby ordered one for our family. Everyone who comes to the door lately has been greeted with a big smile and then a sad face, because they haven't been the UPS guy bringing Rock Band.
