Lots of fun things to do and fun people to see.
Some moments from our 3 days...
We hung out
We climbed Roan Mountain
We shared our passions
And we bonded
Yes, Steph (Nic's Mom) was so wonderful as to put dreads in my hair. I kept them for 3 days. A sensitive head and dreads do not go well together. Thank you Steph and Olivia for making my dream of having dreads a reality. Love you guys and miss you already!

It looks so wonderful! I'm hoping we can make it to the next one (and that it's not that long until we see y'all again. ;) )
Your hair is beautiful however you wear it...poofy, spiraly, dready...it's perfect!! I had so much fun hanging out with you -- can't wait to do it again!! :)
I'm jealous and wish we coulda been there but we had a pretty nice noncon at the Golds'!
I love the pictures you got! And your dreads do look wicked cool....too bad you have that sensitive skin! It was, as usual, so nice spending time with you and your awesome kids.
Looks like a great time. We're going to have to dream up something to happen right in the middle of the country so we can all go.:o)
Aaawww...the dreads were so uber kewl too.
We had a ball! So glad you made it (which isn't as hard now that you're practically in the hood);)
That all looks so much fun. Next time, we are there!
Envy, envy, envy, envy. But not of the dreads. :-) They looked cute on *you*, though.
OH
MY
GOD!@
That's what I get for not keeping up with my blog reading!
Cool chickie!
Once again I get to stew in self-pity while other unschoolers are having fun:( The dreads look really nice, too bad they didn't work out. You can really pull them off well:)
Lucky! Having fun and keeping Abbi all to yourself! But noncon was awesome. Heck, it was so awesome, I'm still here!
Maaaan, I wish I could've gone! But hey zenmomma - I, um, happen to live in the middle of the country.... Hmmm....
You look beautiful with the dreads! I'm sorry you had to let them go.
I am bummed that I missed ARGH -- will try for next year.
Kimba, they (the ARGH group) are planning for another one in March! There is a yahoo group for it if you're interested :)
thank you for the 411 Kelli...I'm off to join the list!
Kimba
Hi Kelli,
I'm so jealous that you had your hair in dreds, I'm trying to convince Selena to do mine (or learn to do it on me!) In what way were you sensitive to it? Was it a pain to comb out afterwards?
Merry Christmas!
Ahna
You should try it Ahna, they were so pokey (sp? *g*) in my head from the ratting. I would have probably, with time, gotten used to them but I really was bothered. And laying on them too was really uncomfortable. I have such a hard time with sleeping with regular hair, let alone dreads! I didn't think about that.
